I was very excited outward journey until Kashmir since the Indians calls it paradise on earth and I heard that it is very beautiful.Trip guide Sahil met me with the airport and we travelled by a supplemented jeep opened with the docks where we caught a taxi of lake at the house boat. On the way it moved to the many Indian soldiers and said that the we call them the kashmir’s Pride.
We travelled by the jeep at the edge of the Dal lake dal and then transferred in a long boat which resembled a gondole in the face. The boats are actuated and directed with a small pallet in the shape of a heart. It slackened very to travel trip on the lake – and very beautiful too. There was much lotus crimson opens on water.
When we reached at the Sahil house boat he prepared a large thermos flask of Kashmiri tasty tea and then make my plans for the next days in Kashmir trip. I wanted to see whether I could find any information on Srinigar on line Sahil carried me to a place which had the Internet – the wouldn’t of I indicate the coffee exactly. It was completely an odd place and very slow, thus I gave to the top to the end after checking of some email.
It became clearly very soon that Sahil wanted my outward journey trekking and to make each other possible activity in the area, and that this would cost me to the top of $20 per day – was not which what I projected. I tried to explain that I travelled with the idea right to have food and the shelter and that wasn’t of I wanting to make activities of tourists. We put discussions until later and I cooled at the bottom of the boat.
The boat was completely sumptuous, and it had a framed letter of Ghandi which had remained front there. It was however in the serious need for a newer interior. I guess since the conflict of Kasmir frightened in addition to tourists of the semi years 80 steps taken much to improve the decoration.
I awoke the next morning early and it was right obtaining the light. I thought that the weather would be nice lira and to observe sunrise it by the lake. I rose and decided to check the back of the boat the didn’t of I want to awake Sahil and thought it could sleep in the living room in before boat. I took my water and delivers and again directs me to the back of the boat in the darkness. The couldn’t I really see where I went and the next thing I knew that my left leg balanced in open air and did not come into contact with any floor. Fortunately nothing was broken insofar as I could say, but a good number of pain and swelling.
When I rose for saying Sahil it laughed very hard and a history of Australian said to me which fell well into the content from a boat on a large rock employed to weigh the boat. It wasn’t in such a good form like me.
Sahil served a good breakfast to me and then we are sitted during approximately 2 hours arguing about my itinery. I finished to the top giving it that I think approximately $40 for a day trip around the gardens of moghul and other sights of people of the country, a day trip in Gulmarg, and the food of night and housing and additional also indicated to him that it would buy to me a ticket of bus with Leh.
We went to the two gardens of Moghul the first was beautiful and had large much young students playing on the lawns. The second was neglected much more, but both were a shade of what were they much of drop by drop run out fountains and masonry were overflowed with foam. In evening, back to the Sahil’s house boat came to me to enquérir plans of demains. I said that we went in Galmarg and it denied that we had agreed on that. The things obtained ugly with calls me a den, but then that I indicated that wasn’t of I giving him more money and of me would be completely happy to spend the day following the relaxation of boat above.
Sahil was sullen intermittently and friendly during days to come, but I had one fine day on the boat. A blue and orange kingfisher luminous came to the boat the morning and recalled me a wish of childhood to see an end to the top in kind. The kites surrounded the lake and the mosques of the area called people with the prayer regularly throughout the day.
Towards the end of the afternoon I saw a couple of the white girls on a boat 5 to the bottom from where I was. After some announcing that I rose more to see them and it proves them were also RU. We caused about the things – they had been in India during a few months and I obtained good information. They were to the top remaining in the house boat of an uncle of friends – who caused much less argument for them than I obtained by Sahil. They projected outward journey on a voyage in a few days.
It would be beautiful to enter trekking that sector – the images that Sahil showed me trekking in the 80s, of happy Europeans in the most beautiful environments showed that. It would be very reasonable for a group, but not something which I liked all alone.Retrospectively I the wouldn’t obtain housing in advance, but other side given the situation to the airport – I wonder how that would have functioned. I would be interested to learn from other tales of people of the visits with Srinagar.
